Sandro Etalle

Sandro Etalle is full professor at the TU Eindhoven, entrepreneur (exited), investor and advisor. During his studies, he (co)-founded TecLogic and ICON (http://www.icon.it), but then he switched to academia, earned a PhD, and eventually became full professor and head of the Security group at the TU/e. In 2009, together with his PhD students Damiano Bolzoni and Emmanuele Zambon, Etalle founded SecurityMatters, where he has been CEO for 4 years and Chairman of the Board till the exit. SecurityMatters factually changed the way of monitoring Industrial Systems and was global leader of its segment. Etalle has later been in the board of CY4GATE and TEC CYBER. He cooperates with the VC firms CYSERO and CuriosityVC and advises a few startups in the Netherlands and Italy.
