More than 10 years ago Saida van Kalsbeek started her cybersecurity journey. After working for a bug bounty platform and setting up her own cybersecurity startup, she chartered new waters by joining the NCSC in 2019 where she was responsible for collaboration with critical infrastructure sectors, CERTs, public sector, and the national response network.
Currently Saida is working as Program Manager Cybersecurity for the Municipality of The Hague where her scope of responsibilities ranges from strategic topics such as cybersecurity innovation, collaboration, internationalization to cyber resilience for SME’s and cybersecurity talent.
Over the years she has built a strong track record in public-private partnerships in cybersecurity, building strategic alliances across sectors and launching and scaling cybersecurity initiatives.
Furthermore, she is one of the co-founders of the Dutch chapter of Women4Cyber where she is committed to get more women in the field and empower other women.
Saida holds a bachelor’s degree in European studies, master’s degree in political communication and a master’s degree in Crisis and Security Management.
