Joep Bos-Coenraad works at Radboud University as Program Manager Digital Sovereignty and Project Leader of the PEP Repository development team. His work evolves around the core ingredients privacy and autonomy. The open source PEP (Polymorphic Encryption and Pseudonymisation) Repository software allows researchers to work with sensitive data using novel privacy and security measures. Privacy enhancing technology applied is based on homomorphic and polymorphic cryptography from digital security research, as well as data governance structures such as multidimensional access management, four eyes principles, micropseudonymisation, partial data analysis and more. Additionally, he is assigned to make Radboud University less dependent on suppliers and foreign actors.
