Inês Ferreira is an Associate Programme Officer at the UNICRI Centre for AI and Robotics, specializing in law with a focus on human rights and technology. Over the past two years, she has contributed her expertise to the Centre’s work focused on the challenges and opportunities presented by AI in crime and justice settings, being entrusted with overseeing the legal, human rights, and ethics aspects of the Centre’s initiatives and involved in the coordination and implementation of programmes. Holding a master’s degree in Public International Law from Leiden University, she previously worked as a litigation lawyer, a Government aid and an academic researcher.
