Standard security foresight tools were built for enterprise IT — not for products with 15-year lifecycles, tightly coupled hardware-software architectures, and supply chains where a single compromise can impact thousands of devices. This session presents two complementary instruments developed by the Brabant House of Cyber (BHoC): the Product Security Innovation Radar, a structured prioritization methodology identifying which product security themes demand joint attention; and the Product Security Transition Handbook, which translates those priorities into concrete, lifecycle-based pathways for organizations moving toward security-by-design under the EU Cyber Resilience Act. We share the first validated findings from the 2026 application of both instruments across the Brabant ecosystem, involving high-tech manufacturers, TNO, TU/e, and industry partners. The session is accessible to anyone with a professional interest in product security, while offering concrete technical depth for practitioners working on embedded systems, supply chain security, and CRA compliance.
