Stefano De Crescenzo is the Head of Operational and Situational Awareness Unit at the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA), where he leads the Agency’s tasks on incidents, vulnerability handling and threat analysis services. Prior to that, he was deputy Head of Sector at the General Secretariat of the EU Council (GSC) for corporate network and threat prevention services. Before joining the EU institutions, he worked in the private sector for Cisco Systems where he held different roles within the Security and Trust organization and the Product Security Incident Response Team’s (PSIRT) operations, focusing on product vulnerability management, malware detection, and integrity assurance. He holds a Bachelor and Master’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering, an Executive Master in Business Administration and he is CCIE Security, CISSP, CISM, CIPP/E, and CIPM certified.
