David has been a volunteer at The Shadowserver Foundation since 2008, the Managing Director of Shadowserver’s European activities since 2014, is a US board Trustee, and leads the team that provides behind the scenes support to Law Enforcement. He has 25+ years operational experience in cybersecurity, including many high profile botnet disruption activities. David was the Chief Research Officer and a Director of the Honeynet Project for many years, leading development of open source honeypot technologies and sharing the lessons learned at events all over the world.
