Ferdinand Grapperhaus served as the Minister of Justice and Security in the Rutte III Cabinet from October 26, 2017, to January 10, 2022. He was a lawyer at, among others, the law firm Allen & Overy in Amsterdam and a part-time professor of European labor law in Maastricht. He was a crown-appointed member of the Social and Economic Council (SER) for several years. Since 2023, he has been leading the legal services branch of Deloitte. Finally, Ferd is also currently a special professor in Rotterdam.
