Wido Potters works at BIT, a Dutch cloud provider and data centre. At BIT, his responsibilities include the abuse desk. In 2015, he and others founded the AbuseIO foundation, the foundation creates open source software to combat internet abuse. This software is in use by providers worldwide and various hotlines/hotlines including the Dutch child pornography hotline. In addition, Wido is co-initiator of the code of conduct against abuse, which has also been presented at the ONE Conference.
In recent years, he and others from Dutch Cloud Community, the trade association for Dutch cloud providers, have developed various initiatives with the aim of making the Dutch cloud sector the cleanest in the world.
