Sebastiaan has been working for Rijkswaterstaat since 2019. First as a security architect and since 2023 as a Senior Cybersecurity Advisor for both IT and OT. Before that, Sebastiaan worked for more than 10 years as a Project Manager IT and Information Security Manager for a drinking water company. As a result, Sebastiaan has a lot of experience with critical infrastructure. In addition to his role as advisor, Sebastiaan leads the ATHENA project. An EU project co-funded by the European Union. In a consortium of various parties from various EU countries, training modules are developed for people who work with critical infrastructure in the water sector. The development of training modules is scientifically substantiated. In this way, we also provide knowledge in the field of learning with innovative technologies in the world of cybersecurity.
