Mattheüs B. Blankesteijn graduated cum laude at the University of Amsterdam for his bachelor’s and master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, before graduating additionally as a Master of Science in Security and Network Engineering (OS3). His research on data remnants in Android smartphones received the Best Paper Award 2023 in the journal Forensic Science International: Digital Investigation. Currently, Mattijs is GIAC Certified as both Forensic Analyst and Penetration Tester and working in cybersecurity at a non-profit organization serving the healthcare industry.
