Tagliaretti has more than 20 years of activity in International Institutions and Organizations, with a specialization in the digital sector and cybersecurity. He joined eu-LISA, the European Agency for the operational management of large-scale IT systems in the area of freedom, security, and justice, and for a few months he also took on the role of interim executive director.
Graduated in Engineering with a master’s degree from the Polytechnic University of Milan, completed his education at the University of Oxford and Harvard, he is a volunteer at the Tony Blair Faith Foundation.
Prior to joining eu-LISA, he worked at the European Central Bank, focusing on the development of digital anti-counterfeiting technologies. In 2014 he was appointed by the Quirinale on the proposal of the Minister of Foreign Affairs – then Paolo Gentiloni, now European Commissioner – Knight of the Order of the Star of Italy.
