Jaap is a Cyber pioneer pur sang. Using his leadership qualities (amongst others sharpened at the FBI National Academy) combined with years of experience he is able to transform his vision across the Cyber spectrum into concrete leads, operations and investigations.
Having worked on the forefront of the fight against Cybercrime for many years, Jaap knows the importance of Cyber-intelligence as well as Cybersecurity by heart and is aware of the current Cyberthreat picture, at all times.
Jaap cooperated in many of the large and innovative cross-border operations against cybercrime to date. And thoroughly enjoys to explore the new (investigative-) opportunities at the focal point where technology, crime and security come together.
