Inge Wetzer, PhD, obtained her PhD in social psychology and works as Principal Cybersecurity Psychologist at BV Cybersecurity. She specializes in the human side of cybersecurity, combining expertise in psychology and cybersecurity to better understand how people perceive, interpret, and respond to cyber threats. Her work translates insights from social psychology into practical ways to strengthen cyber resilience and better protect people against digital risks. Wetzer has previously presented three times at the ONE Conference on her expertise in the human side of cyber. Building on those earlier contributions, this talk continues her work on connecting human behavior to real-world cybersecurity challenges. Her PhD background is directly relevant to the topic, as it underpins her perspective on trust, decision-making, persuasion, and vulnerability in digital environments.
