Fieke started her career with the Fiscal Information and Investigative Service (FIOD), where she worked in the Financial Advanced Cyber Team. In 2021 she joined the National High Tech Crime Unit (NHTCU) as a digital specialist, focused on creating data-pipelines that generate tactical insights from digital sources. Next, she took on a coordinating role within X-ray, the hybrid innovation team of NHTCU. There she managed several large-scale international operations to combat high-tech cybercrime, such as Operation Endgame.
In 2025 she started her Management Development program as the head of the National High Tech Crime Unit, next to Patrick de Nijs.
Together with her work in Law Enforcement, she currently pursues a PhD in the field of Economics of Cybersecurity, researching the role of service providers in the cybercriminal ecosystem.
