Eveline Vreede leads the TU Delft Safety & Security Institute, where she drives collaboration across academia, government, and industry on safety and digital security. She is also Project Leader for the Cyber Security theme within the Leiden-Delft-Erasmus Universities alliance, advancing multidisciplinary research and education that connect technical, legal, and societal perspectives.
Beyond academia, Eveline serves as Chair of the Vreedefonds, a foundation supporting Dutch students to study internationally, and she takes on ACCSS board management, the national network for cybersecurity collaboration. With a background spanning public-private partnerships and management, communication and information sciences as well as European studies, she brings a combination of vision, leadership, and cross-sector experience to the cybersecurity field.
