Esther Schagen-van Luit is Principal at the European Office of the Information Security Forum, where she is responsible bringing ISF research and tools to the European market and helping members make the most of their membership with ISF. Previously she served as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of Deloitte Netherlands, Belgium, Dutch Caribbean & Deloitte Legal, after having had a career in cybersecurity strategy consulting. Esther is an active speaker on information security, diversity and talent development in the industry. She is a role model dedicated to motivating more girls and women for a career in the security sector and was selected as the FD Top 50 Talents under 35 in 2023. She is also a SER Topvrouw and Board Member at the Nederlandse Vrouwen Raad (Dutch Women Society). She was a keynote speaker at the 2023 One Conference on cybersecurity knowledge for executive and supervisory boards.
