Cas van Cooten is a long-time offensive security enthusiast based in the Netherlands, with over a decade of experience in offensive cybersecurity. He has an extensive background in evading defenses by building custom offensive tooling, and is a strong advocate for community collaboration, frequently sharing his research and open-source tools to help bridge the gap between red and blue teams. He has presented his work at industry-leading conferences including Black Hat and DEF CON. Today, Cas is co-founder and tech lead of the Dutch cybersecurity startup Offensys, where he translates complex adversarial tradecraft into a platform for continuous purple teaming.
