Barend Frans has worked for the Amsterdam police since 1987. After 10 years working in uniform he started rooting around in the digital world. From day 1 the citizen was and is his first priority. For them he joined the police to do his bit for a safer Netherlands. The first 10 years in the analog world and since 1997 in the digital world. He collaborates with partners to make the Netherlands more digitally secure and aware. He does this on the basis of mutual trust and social responsibility. The police can do a lot, but certainly not everything! He is convinced that by working together with partners, we can fight together against Cybercrime.
