Astrid Oosenbrug started her career as a system administrator over 25 years ago, but has since been mostly active in politics and public affairs. She served as a Member of Parliament in the Netherlands (2012–2017) and is now CSR & Public Affairs Officer at ESET.nl, while also active in numerous NGOs. Astrid has been a strong critic of privacy-invasive investigative legislation and played a key role in introducing Responsible Disclosure Policy within the Dutch government. She is co-founder of DIVD.nl(Dutch Institute for Vulnerability Disclosure) and co-founder and CEO of DIVD.academy, where she supports and guides young hackers, helping them develop their skills while staying on the ethical path.

In addition, Astrid is one of the initiators of the Digitale Dolle Mina’s, a movement that combines digital rights activism with feminist ideals to push for a more inclusive and secure digital society.
