Astrid Oosenbrug began her career over 20 years ago as a system administrator but has since been mainly active in politics as a Member of Parliament (2012-2017), Public Affairs Officer at ESET.nl, and in numerous NGOs. She has been critical of privacy infringements by new investigative laws and has strongly advocated for the implementation of Responsible Disclosure policies within (and outside) the Dutch government. She is a co-founder of DIVD.nl (Dutch Institute for Vulnerability Disclosure) and a co-founder and CEO of DIVD.Academy, an institution aimed at enhancing knowledge, skills, and ethical awareness as well as connecting young (hacker) talent.
