How do we ensure that today’s children become the cybersecurity experts, ethical hackers and digital innovators our society will need tomorrow?
During this session, HackShield will introduce Future Career Path: a new programme for children aged 7–12 and young people aged 13–19, designed to inspire them to explore a future in IT and cybersecurity. Rather than starting with job descriptions, the programme connects digital careers to the worlds, interests and sectors that already fascinate them.
Immediately after the presentation, the programme for children aged 7–12 will go live. The programme for young people aged 13–19 will still be under construction, but participants will receive an exclusive preview of its approach and ambitions.
We will explain the psychology behind creating genuine and lasting interest, demonstrate how companies and public organisations can make digital careers tangible and show how Future Career Path will be scaled nationally and internationally.
Together with partners from cybersecurity, IT, banking, insurance, government and other sectors, we aim to reach more than 100,000 children before the end of 2026. The session concludes with a concrete call to the entire ONE community: help us turn the next generation from passive users of technology into the digital heroes who will protect and shape our future.
