Liesbeth Holterman is director of Cyberveilig Nederland, the association of cybersecurity companies in the Netherlands. In this role, she connects the sector with politics, science, government and other relevant stakeholders. Holterman has a background in national security at the General Intelligence Service (AIVD) and has been active in the cybersecurity domain for over 10 years. She has worked for various associations such as FME and NL Digital. In addition to her role as strategic advisor at Cyberveilig NL, she is an independent strategic advisor on cybersecurity issues. She teaches as a guest lecturer at Saxion Hogeschool and The Hague University of Applied Sciences. She is a member of various advisory committees such as of the NCSC/DTC and the Master Cybersecurity of the HHS. She is also chair of the Anti Abuse Network (AAN) and secretary of the Hackshield foundation, which is committed to a safe (digital) world for our children.
