Hidde-Jan Jongsma is a senior scientist at the Department of CST at TNO, leveraging his expertise in digital identity, vulnerability research, semantic data, and risk management. As a technical lead in several programs, he advances technological solutions for critical applications. Previously, Hidde-Jan has worked on Cyber Electro Magnetic Activities (CEMA) and projects supporting the National Cryptography Strategy. Recently, his focus has shifted towards software supply chain security, reflecting his commitment to emerging cybersecurity challenges. An advocate for open source software, he has contributed to TNO-developed tools like SOARCA (an open source SOAR) and the TNO self-sovereign identity lab.
