Anthonie Drenth is a senior cybersecurity advisor at the Dutch National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC-NL). He has been interested in cybersecurity for quite some time, with a special attention to human factors and building cyberresilient organisations. In his contributions he seeks to incorporate insights from (social) psychology, criminology and (public) administration, but always with a focus on how to use theory in practice. In his role at NCSC-NL, he focusses on insider risk, recovery strategies and the role of people in cybersecurity.
Before his work at NCSC-NL, he was a security advisor at a Dutch municipality, where he addressed local crime issues. His main focus was the issue of cybercrime and improving awareness for citizens and small businesses.
