This talk covers the basics of security by behavioural design, designing systems in such a way that end-users are more likely to behave securely. Based on the findings from two projects commissioned by NCSC-NL, the talk addresses what security by behavioural design entails, what science has to say about it, and what practitioners think about its usefulness and potential for implementation in real-world settings.
