The war in Ukraine has served as a reminder that the “defender has a vote”. By being prepared and building resilience, countries and organisations can actively protect themselves from cyber criminal and state threats. The UK National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) is vigilant to these threats, wherever they come from, and stands ready to defend against them. However, resilience cannot be built in isolation. Collaboration with governments, academia and industry - both domestically and internationally – is vital to making our nations and organisations as unattractive a target as possible. In this speech, the speaker will examine the threat landscape and how to build effective resilience, against a backdrop of rapid developments in emerging tech
