Commodore E.F. (Elanor) Boekholt-O'Sullivan (Cork, Ireland 1976) is the Commander of the Defense Cyber Command since July 2018. DCC provides integrated military operational cyber capacities for the Armed Forces.

Within the Royal Netherlands Air Force, Elanor has gained wide experience in a number of positions and has developed her leadership skills to a high degree.

After starting her career as an Assistant Air Traffic Controller, Elanor had her Intelligence and Security Officer Training at the Royal Military Academy in Breda.

After working as an Analyst and Current Desk Officer at the Netherlands Military Intelligence and Security Service (MIVD), she became a Platoon Commander at

the Royal Military Academy in 2002, and was subsequently appointed advisor to the Commander of the Royal Netherlands Air Force (2005), while also being responsible for the gender policy dossier. During her time as Squadron Commander of the Didactic Military Leadership and Instruction Squadron (DMLO) (2007), she and her team restructured the DMLO’s output and restored its relevance for the Royal Netherlands Air Force’s striking power. After attending the Advanced Defence Studies Course, she became Programme Manager at the Defence IT Organisation (JIVC) in 2011. From 2012, Elanor held the post of Strategic Advisor of the Commander of the Royal Netherlands Air Force and in 2014 she became responsible for the AIR (Ambition, Innovation, Results) Innovation Centre. Since June 2016 Elanor was the Commander of Airbase Eindhoven.
