France now represents the 2nd largest market in Europe for cybersecurity, with nearly 500 companies and 190 start-ups. The President of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron, has called for the launch in 2021 of a national Cyber Campus, similar to Beershevah in Israel. At the same time, the Gendarmerie Nationale (armed forces of the Ministry of the Interior) has developed its own Cyberspace Command. As for French CISOs, they are now federating around common projects.
