In June 2019 the cybersecurity act entered into force, enabling ENISA with stronger policy instrumentation to assist the EU and its member states in strengthening cybersecurity. Dr. Steve Purser will provide an insider’s view of ENISA’s (new) role and mandate against the cyber challenges of the future. In addition, Dr. Purser will connect the relevant technological developments with existing or future policy initiatives such as discussing digital sovereignty. The presentation will provide the audience with an overview of relevant developments and the responsibilities of ENISA as the EU Agency for Cybersecurity.
