A friendly foreign intelligence agency issues a secret warning of an ongoing cyber incident in the Netherlands. Through their sources they learned of a hack on a Dutch company in the critical infrastructure. This hack introduces a potential risk of sabotage.

Digitalisation makes our lives easier and brings us prosperity, but it also introduces new risks. In the Netherlands there are multiple agencies and ministries working around the clock to manage these risks, so everyone can keep enjoying the benefits of digitalisation. In this presentation Job Kuijpers, Head of National Communications Security Agency of the General Intelligence and Security Service, will present a fictive case study to illustrate how the Netherlands will respond to a cyber incident.
