On 7 September 2021 the Dutch ONE Conference and the French International Cybersecurity Forum (FIC) have consolidated their cooperation by signing a Memorandum of Understanding. The ONE Conference is an initiative of the Netherlands’ National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy and the Municipality of The Hague. The main objective of the strategic partnership with the FIC, is to make both the FIC and the ONE yet more attractive for their audiences. Both platforms are somewhat different from one another, they both have their unique identity, distinctive audience and history. But from now on also a common goal: to strengthen each other in their international ambitions. On 7 and 8 September 2021 the FIC has hosted two ONE presentations and on 28 and 29 of September the ONE hosts a FIC presentation. At this edition of the FIC, the ONE Conference has presented one of their most inspiring speakers: Mr. Jeroen Gaiser of the water governance body ‘Rijkswaterstaat’. He will also be present at this year’s ONE Conference to explain the journey they have embarked with regard to IT and OT challenges that face in managing the water works of the Netherlands. In addition at the FIC: Noortje Henrichs of the NCSC has presented the newest insights on cyber threat intelligence. More important than ever before, given the current geopolitical tensions.
